“After 35 years in education I had become a bit jaded about assembly programs. It wasn’t three minutes into the presentation that I found myself laughing out loud and taking a message with me.”
“Thank you. That's all I can really say. Day to day I was just living, taking up space. I didn't feel like I was worth anything just because I was different from the norm... but to hear you speak, and hearing your stories, gave me another reason to hold onto my life and not end it.”
“You could have heard a pin drop on the carpet in the auditorium throughout the whole presentation, well of course not when they were busting out laughing!”
“I feel like the someone I needed to give me hope finally spoke.”
"Although you didn't stress eating disorders it really hit home. That night I told my mom I needed help.”

His public school assembly programs have been consistently rated among the best in the nation by school administrators, teachers, parents, and most importantly, students. His intense passion to instill hope in youth allows him to connect with their hearts and minds like no other speaker can, sharing experiences that help them deal with real life while challenging them to make a difference in their world.
He explores sober issues like bullying, self-harm, suicide and substance use while using his unique gift of humor. Somewhere between laughing at one of his embarrassing moments and getting choked up over a true story, students realize their lives have been changed.
